Unifore Real Estate sells Corio Center in Heerlen
October 03, 2023Unifore Real Estate, in cooperation with its advisor Colliers, has sold the Corio Center in Heerlen. The shopping center, situated in the heart of the center of Heerlen, is approximately 18,000 square meters, divided over the first floor and the -1 floor. Over the past 3 years, Unifore has stabilized rents and extended most of the lease contracts for long-term leases. The shopping center includes (among others) MediaMarkt, Van Haren, Mango, New Yorker and C&A.
In the last 1.5-year Unifore, together with Mecanoo architects and project manager Savills, made a beautiful design to make the shopping center “future proof”. The renovation of the shopping center has already started, and the new owners will continue to develop the renovation plans.
