Unifore buys the Etten-Leur shopping center from Wereldhave
April 23, 2021April 1st, a partnership of Unifore Real Estate and an investor group from The Hague acquired the shopping center in Etten-Leur at Hof van Den Houte / Burchtplein (‘WC Etten-Leur’), from Wereldhave. WC Etten-Leur covers more than 23,000 sqm and is almost fully let to 74 tenants.
It is the ambition of the new owner to give WC Etten-Leur a new impulse; to invest and modernize and thus prepare the shopping center for the future. A mix of formats that in terms of experience and offering is even better tailored to the changing needs of the public in Etten-Leur and its region. In addition, it will be investigated whether it is possible to add (care) homes in the future. In view of the great need for new (care) homes in Etten-Leur and the fact that the current buildings are ideal for a partial redevelopment. In short, major plans that the new owner wants to realize in close consultation with its tenants, the municipality and the other stakeholders.
