5Zeuven transformation property in Arnhem sold

The transformation property ‘5Zeuven’ in the Arnhem district of Kronenburg has been sold to Veldboom Vastgoed through a share transaction arranged by ABC Capital.

The seller, a joint venture between Unifore Real Estate, PZD Vastgoed and Lobel Vastgoed, bought the office building next to the Kronenburg shopping center in mid-2020 and has obtained a building permit for the transformation into rental housing units. 40 apartments will be realized on the upper floors, while the commercial strip on the ground floor will be maintained. The project fits in seamlessly with the area development of the municipality of Arnhem. It has designated the Kronenburg area as a spearhead for the realization of new and transformed homes. A special feature of the design is the work-from-home pavilion on the top floor with a roof terrace and a view over the city, so that working from home in 5Zeuven still feels like being at the office.

Veldboom Vastgoed became the owner as of September 1. Since the permit has already been granted, work will start immediately. The property is located on a large plot, which minimizes construction nuisance for the environment. The Veldboom Vastgoed company is specialized in realizing and managing rental properties, originally started in 2006 in Groningen and now rental properties are realized and managed throughout the country. The transformation is carried out according to the latest standards. For example, all homes are constructed sustainably without a gas connection and extra attention is paid to ecology and circularity, so that a future-proof high-quality residential property is added to the portfolio.
