Unifore welcomes Kalmar as new tenant in WPC Rotterdam

On 1 May 2018 Kalmar Netherlands opened its new office in the World Port Center in Rotterdam.

Kalmar has signed a lease agreement with World Port Center Propco for approximately 1,400 sqm of office space with 50 parking spaces. Kalmar offers solutions and services for cargo handling at ports, terminals, distribution centers and heavy industry.

The World Port Center consists of 35,500 sqm of office space spread over 32 floors and approximately 500 parking spaces in the underground garage. It is located at the top-end of the Wilhelminapier right next to Hotel New York and offers a great view over the skyline of Rotterdam.

The building has recently been acquired by World Port Center Propco. Unifore handles the asset management. In close cooperation with the Rotterdam Port Authority, Unifore ensured that Kalmar decided to move to the World Port Center.

CBRE advised Kalmar in this transaction. JLL and De Mik bedrijfshuisvesting advised World Port Center Propco. The Rotterdam Port Authority was represented by Solved.
